SPECIAL SCREENING OF THIS NEW FILM, SHOT ENTIRELY IN YORKSHIRE and a chance to question the film’s director, Richard Heap
Friday, 11th October, 2019
Premiered at the Manchester Film Festival and starring Mark Addy, Tara Fitzgerald, Molly Windsor and Lee Boardman. After their home life is turned upside down, three children and the family’s donkeys escape across the backbone of Northern England, confronting both the harsh landscapes and what it means to be siblings. This is a throwback to classic children’s adventure films, but with a modern feel and filmed entirely in North Yorkshire.
The screening is followed by a Q&A with director Richard Heap.
The cast are all well known from TV and film. As well as Mark Addy (The Full Monty, Game of Thrones) and Tara Fitzgerald (Waking the Dead as well as RSC), Molly Windsor won a BAFTA for her portrayal of Holly in Three Girls and Rhys Connah who plays Ben, was Sarah Lancashire’s grandson, Ryan, in the stark drama Happy Valley.
