After the success of our inaugural beer festival in 2016, Ferribeer is back!
Real Ale, lager, cider, gin, wine
Music and Food
Fine Cask and Keg Beers – we will be offering a wide selection of a large selection of Quality Real Ales, Craft Beers & Lagers from Yorkshire Microbreweries and beyond + Real Ciders. All cooled and lovingly dispensed from hand pumps & fonts.
New this year will be a Gin Bar and Wine bar, each featuring a range of common to exotic options to please the discerning palette.
How much will it cost? Entry is free. Vouchers for acquiring your drinks will be available at the door, starting at £1; we suggest buying at least a tenner’s worth though. You can buy more. Refunds are not an option, but you can give any unused ones to the needy.
Will there be a decent selection of drinks to try? We think you should really judge for yourself. Start with the list here then come along and try them. Let us know what you think.
What else is going on? Food & Live Music throughout the day.
Where is it? North Ferriby Village Hall, 50 Church Road, HU14 3AA
Do I need to book? Nope, and it won’t help if you do. Doors open at 11am and then you can come and go as you like. If it’s too busy you may have to wait a little while, but it’s a big venue.
How do I get there? You could drive, or get someone else to drive. Better still, Ferriby Train Station is a 5 minute stroll away with trains to and from Hull and other exotic destinations; last train is around 9:30pm. The village is also well served by buses, if you like that sort of thing.
Will there be proper glasses? Sadly not (at least for the beer), though we will have good quality recyclable ‘glasses’. Feel free to bring your favourite tankard, flagon, ale horn or other drinking vessel.
Are children welcome? We aren’t going to stop you, but think carefully about what you are exposing them to.
Why are you doing this? Because the atmosphere, camaraderie and sense of community was marvellous to behold at the last one. And we rather enjoy a tipple and suspect you do too.
Do I need to book? Nope, and it won’t help if you do. The doors open at 11am and you can come and go as you like. If there is a rush you may be regrettably delayed in accessing the bar, but we are sure everyone will form an orderly, good humoured queue, we are British after all!
How can I keep track of what’s going on? After a few samples that might be a forlorn hope. Prior to that check out updates on the website, on Facebook, on Twitter (@FerribyLive), or join the discussion on ENTS24. That about covers it
Will it just be beer? Ummm, no. In addition to lager and cider, there will be a full gin bar and an excellent wine bar, including the exquisite wines from Little Wold Vineyard (plus other wines for the less discerning quaffer)
What about food? The excellent Love Hog Roast will be providing delicious hot food, while ice creams, doughnuts and other delicacies will be available. Plus tea, coffee and cake if you feel inclined
