Saturday 31st August 2019 11am – 11pm
Real Ale, lager, cider, gin, wine and food
Fine Cask and Keg Beers
We will be offering a wide selection of Quality Real Ales, Craft Beers & Lagers from Great Newsome Brewery and beyond + Real Ciders. Our charming volunteer staff will dispense them for you with love from hand pump and tap.
Back by popular demand will be the Gin Bar and Wine bar, each featuring a range of common to exotic options to please the discerning palette.
How much will it cost?
Entry is £10. But for that you get so much goodness: a one of a kind festival glass (actually, we have 750 of them, but you get the idea), your first handful of beer vouchers and access to all the goodness we can muster within our walls. You can top up your vouchers, which can continue to be exchanged for beer, gin etc. (but not food), whenever you feel the need.
Refunds are not an option, but you can give any unused ones to the needy.
Will there be a decent selection of drinks to try?
We think you should really judge for yourself. Start with the list here then come along and try them. Let us know what you think.

What else is going on?
Food & a DJ providing rather excellent Music throughout the day.
Where is it?
North Ferriby Village Hall, 50 Church Road, HU14 3AA
How do I get there?
You could drive, or get someone else to drive. Better still, Ferriby Train Station is a 5 minute stroll away; surprisingly, it has trains to and from Hull and other exotic destinations; last train is around 9:30pm. The village is also well served by buses, if you like that sort of thing.
Will there be proper glasses?
Absolutely (I think we mentioned this above). We have ordered a large quantity of attractive craft beer glasses, beautifully adorned with the Ferribeer logo. Feel free to bring your favourite tankard, flagon, ale horn or other drinking vessel; but you will need your glass to prove that you were allowed in through the door (window, chimney or whatever).
Are children welcome?
We aren’t going to stop you, but think carefully about what you are exposing them to.
Why are you doing this?
Because the atmosphere, camaraderie and sense of community was marvellous to behold at the last one. And we rather enjoy a tipple and suspect you do too.
Do I need to book?
Nope, and it won’t help if you do. The doors open at 11am and you can come and go as you like until 11pm. If there is a rush you may be regrettably delayed in accessing the bar, but we are sure everyone will form an orderly, good humoured queue, we are British after all!
How can I keep track of what’s going on?
After a few samples that might be a forlorn hope. Prior to that check out updates on the website, on Facebook, on Twitter (@FerribyLive), or join the discussion on ENTS24. That about covers it.
Will it just be beer?
Ummm, no. In addition to lager and cider, there will be a full gin bar and an excellent wine bar.
What about food?
The excellent Love Hog Roast will be providing delicious hot food, while ice creams, doughnuts and other delicacies will be available. Plus tea, coffee and cake if you feel inclined.
